ok, so the sunday paper has coupons in it right? and the front page of the coupon section has coupons for steak n shake, a yummy restaurant that i didn't know was in this area.
wow, a steak n shake here?! i'll drive to suffolk for it, if it's really there!
so i go on the website. no steak n shakes in virginia at all. i enter my zipcode. no steak n shakes within 100 miles, which includes northeast north carolina. nothin. i try to click on the list of north carolina locations, but i get an error. oops.
so sad. i was so excited, then my hopes were dashed. perhaps there will be one opening in a few months? or this is just a brand familiarization tactic? so disappointing.

I also saw that add in sunday's paper, and grew really excited. I did the same as you, looking around their web-site all for not.
I decided to e-mail them and ask why we got teased wit han add, if there is no Steak and Shake within a 100 miles. I have yet to recieve an answer.
I am bumbed out. I've been waiting for over ten years for a Steak and Shake in eastern Va.
I dont think there's a steak & shake here, either. in fact, i dont even know the spanish word for milkshake. filete & malteada ? (according to my handy dictionary)

Yeah, that's like up here in North Dakota where we get Sonic commercials on tv. (Probably because we have satellite, but STILL!) :-)
The closest Sonic is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota...several hours away...it's such a tease when I see that yummy Sonic food! lol
Craziest thing! I had this dream you lived in AZ in this large adobe apartment with a bunch of friends. I was out visiting for some reason... that was pretty much the whole dream!
Only 2 hours (2.5 with border crossing, etc.)
